Your privacy, in short.
- What we collect: the email you give us; the pages of this site you open and the steps you take on them (for example, whether you saw the price, tapped “No thanks” or started a reservation), how long each page was on your screen and how far you scrolled; the ad and campaign tags in the link you came from (UTM tags and fbclid); your device type (phone, tablet or computer), its operating system, and whether you opened the page inside the Facebook or Instagram app; your browser type (its user agent) when you give us your email; your survey answers; and, if you reserve, your payment. Stripe (USA) processes your $3 deposit. We never see your full card number.
- Why: to send your price, your reservation emails and launch news, and to learn which version of this page and which ad works and where people stop, so we can improve it. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. Emails about a reservation you paid for still reach you.
- Cookies: three of ours, the analytics cookies of Microsoft Clarity, and two advertising cookies of Meta.
- How long we keep it: records of your visits are deleted within 13 months of your last visit. Your email, the steps you took after giving it, your survey answers and your reservation stay until you ask us to delete them. Payment records stay for our accounts, without your email. Resend (USA) sends our emails and keeps delivery records for 30 days.
- Analytics: Microsoft Clarity (USA) shows us how visitors use this page: clicks, scrolling and session replays. It never records what you type. Microsoft’s privacy statement covers that data.
- Ads: we use Meta’s pixel and Conversions API to measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel, Meta’s script on this site, records the pages you open here and whether you stayed and scrolled. With Meta’s automatic advanced matching it may also hash an email you type into a form here and send Meta that hash. When you give us your email, start a reservation or pay, our server sends Meta your email, hashed, a hashed customer number, your IP address, your browser type, Meta’s id for this browser (_fbp), the ad click id (fbclid) and, for a reservation, its amount. Meta Platforms (USA) receives this data and uses it under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Your sessions: data from the headband is yours. The signal is processed on your phone. Sessions are encrypted, never sold and deleted on request.
- We never sell your data. What goes to Meta above is used for advertising, which California law may call “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. To limit it, block Meta’s pixel with your browser’s tracking protection or an ad blocker, change your ad preferences in Facebook or Instagram, or ask us to delete your data: our server then sends Meta nothing more about you.
